We have different versions of the above and have no conclusive evidence as to whether 214 Sqn actually recieved Aircraft or not!! "The squadron briefly reformed at Laarbruch on 15 June 1955 as a Canberra PR 7 equipped photo-reconnaissance unit. However, it`s career in this role was brought to an end less than two months later, when on 1 August 1955, it was renumbered No. 80 Squadron." |
