The Museum

Germany`s first and only Royal Air Force Museum, invites you to a trip down memory lane, through 45 years of Royal Air Force presence in Laarbruch, Weeze and the Lower Rhine area.

The museum was first opened to the public on 3rd. June 2007. Opening hours are from 1400hrs. to 1700hrs. every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. The entrance fee is € 2,-- for adults, and children under 15 years of age are free of charge.

Groups are welcome at any time, but are requested to make an appointment, whether a conducted tour of the museum only is required or not.
The entrance fee for groups of 10 persons or more is € 2,-- per person.

The aim of the museum is to document the history of the former military airbase Laarbruch. The former St Peter`s Church has been renovated for this purpose, and now contains a large selection of exhibits including two aircraft cockpits (Canberra T4 and Buccaneer).

Furthermore an exhibition of aircraft is intended. The museum is attempting to purchase various types of aircraft that were stationed at Laarbruch.
